Research chart// tourist

 this week we had to pick a topic from a research chart and i picked tourist. you had to make a guide book on the best places to go in Canada and this is mine. 

maths times tables challenge//Leo and Kate

 this week Whaea Alison wanted us to show our maths in a creative way. me and my friend Kate did a game of snakes and ladders with times table questions on some of the squares. 

my Get Creative-floating island

 this week in get creative, i made a floating island with a windmill on top. i wanted to build a castle originally, but it wouldn't look good so i went with a windmill i had made before. it was a fun build and easy to do. i found the build image on google so credits to the original builder.

My pinwheel

 

We have been learning about wind and this week we made pinwheels. Pinwheels are a smaller version of a wind turbine. This makes it easier to understand a wind turbine.

Pin wheels are like wind turbines in almost every way. The blades are pushed by the wind, it stands on its own and it is the same design. The only differences are that its made of paper and is alot smaller.

Have you ever been to see a wind turbine farm? If so where?
