Its finished! Our term is over, and the final product has been made. We spent ages on our paintings and decorations, to make our board and information look colorful and eye-catching. That being said, I never want to do this topic or type of learning ever again. A thank you to Ashley who made the titles and stuck our into on the boards.
Hello again! I'm back to update you on my project. This week I've been focusing on re-writing the information I have found so it's my work. My findings on hydro power have come to a slow stop and if I want to further my information, I think i'm gonna have to further my info by looking into other sources and questions. Next week I should have all my research complete and i'm going to start thinking about presenting. This is a video that explains Dams well and one ive used for my information.

The 17 year old bowed and a loud cheer rose up from the crowd. She stood up and smiled, waving and walking off of the stage. This girl was an amazing dancer and had won many awards for her talent. She walked down the corridor, waving and congratulating the backstage crew. She smiled and grabbed her bag. When she walked out a man was waiting to see her. This man was the owner of one of the bigges money making businesses in the world. And he wanted her to succeed in the world. She agreed to his contract and was flown out to LA. but the girl was to native to see he was only in it for the money. She went to a prestigious dance school and was worked to refine her skill. Life went on happily for a while (2 years) before she realised something was wrong. The contract said for 6 years she would work with the business man, but she didn’t want to any more. When she confronted him, he merrily laughed and said “ sweetie you gotta listen well it only matters how you sell”.
I woke up to the shouting of nurses. Oh great what had happened now? I blink dully and look around. A kind nurse with the name Darcy printed on her little card rushed around my bed in a flurry of shouts, medical supply's and white uniform. I stared up at the celling in annoyance. It was a dull grey. Huh thats weird. Last time I was here it was a light blue. Hmm maybe i was in a different ward. I sat up and looked around at my surroundings. It was all different shades of grey and white. The curtains were white and the bed was white and grey. No color to keep things sterile I guessed. The nurse Darcy had left at this point, tittering in her high pitched voice that I wasn't to have any visitors. I scolded at this and lay down to sleep. It wasn't long before i was in La-La land. I dreamt of a kid who was in an accident and lost their sight. I was so real that i woke up with tears in my eyes. I had to know it it was true. I called for the nurse and stared up at the now dull grey ceiling. She arrived and immediately asked if something was wrong. I said no and proceed to ask her about my dream. “ oh honey I'm sorry but it was real”, she said sadly. I suddenly looked at her and froze. Her once brown hair was a dark grey and her skin was almost white. “ Sweetie that was you. You lost your vision in an accident the other day. You have been diagnosed with monochromacy and will never see true color again. It has no cure but you can use color blind glasses to help you. But you will have it for the rest of your life”.
Monochromacy - comes from the Greek words of mono ( one ) and chromo ( color)
A car beeped its horn and i woke with a start. The hum of the radio and the other cars was oddly comforting. My best friend was humming along to whatever song was stuck in his head. I yawned and stretched in the cramped space. “ oh your awake! We're just about the airport so we will be there soon. Then you can sleep on the plane”, he said smiling at me. “ thank god!” I sighed. “ I haven't been sleeping and its annoying to sleep at 8 am and wake up at 4 pm”. He laughed. “ girl you gotta fix your sleep schedule”. I laughed and rest my head on the window, watching the scenery go past. It was pretty. And calming. We pulled up at the airport and unloaded our bags from the back and the taxi drove away. We walked inside and began searching for out other friends. Now all of my friends were guys and the one I was with ( Zach ) was gay. Zach had never met the guys and I wanted to see what his reaction was. I pulled out my phone and pulled up the group chat with the text on where to meet up. Under the sign for the gate we were going through. Gate 14. And true to their word there they were. Jay sitting down on the floor, nick and Luke were chasing after each other and getting a ton of dirty looks from others. William was quietly reading something on his phone and Karl was taking photos probably for memorabilia. I ran up to them and gave them all hugs. I came back for Zane and dragged him over. “ guys this is Zach. Zach this is Luke, William, Karl, nick and Jay”, i said pointing to each person in turn. Zach smiled and waved. Soon enough we were boarding the plane to Huston, Texas. Why? I dont know. We were actually going to Florida but wanted to pick up Michel in Texas then drive over. When the flight was over i stood up and stretched after another long nap. The guys were quietly talking and i was glad to see Zach was fitting in nicely. In the car it was absolute chaos. The music was loud, William was eating and driving. Karl was hitting nick and I was hogging the aux cord from Luke. Lots of photos were taken and lots of memories were made that trip.
